Blue Ribbon Week 2018 – February 5th- 9th
Monday 2/5: Black Out Day: Students wear black to “Make the right choice to stop or prevent bullying!” PAL students decorate the school; #rightchoices Information on Breaker News; 1st period teachers pass out #rightchoices pledges.
Tuesday 2/6: Disney/Sparkle Day: Students wear Disney Character shirts and/or Sparkle clothing, or accessories to “shine the light” on making right choices to keep our campus bully free. Blue Ribbon Assemblies at Truman Benedict in the morning today. Turn in #rightchoices pledges to the PAL table at lunch and receive a prize. Participate in our lunch time activity on the stage to win a prize!
Wednesday 2/7: Wear Blue Day: Students wear blue to honor those students whose lives have been lost to bullying. #rightchoices Information on Breaker News. Blue Ribbon Assembly today in 1st period. See Assembly Schedule. Turn in #rightchoices pledges to the PAL table at lunch and receive a prize. Participate in our lunch time activity today on the stage!
Thursday 2/8: Hype Beast Day: Students wear their favorite fake designer or designer wear such as Nike, Vans, Off-White, Addidas, Thrasher, Supreme, etc. to show they are “hyped to make right choices!” Ideas can be: hats, bracelets, beanies, stickers on shirts, shoes, socks, t-shirts, sports jerseys or accessories. Turn in #rightchoices pledges to receive a prize. Participate in our lunch time activity on the stage!
Friday 2/9: Pajama Day: Students wear jammies to show how making right choices makes you feel comfortable! PALS take down Blue Ribbon Week decorations during 4th period
